With an HDD mounted the IB-MP3010 becomes the digital video recorder. The ICY BOX IB-MP3010 has a slot for memory cards, two USB inputs and a composite input. The video outputs are composite and component (720p/1080i). Audio outputs are stereo (L/R) and digital audio (SPDIF, coaxial and optical). All plugs are on the back, neatly arranged. The body is matt black. It is made of aluminium which provides good cooling and stability. And it looks good and feels good. The ICY BOX IB-MP3010 offers a reasonably composed bundle of features.
